In The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (1974), a group of friendsโ€”Sally, Franklin, Pam, Kirk, and Jerryโ€”set out to visit the grave of Sally’s grandfather. Along the way, they encounter strange and unsettling sights, including a creepy house and a hitchhiker who acts erratically. Things take a dark turn when they stop at a seemingly abandoned farmhouse, where they are stalked by a terrifying figure known as Leatherface, a deranged man who wears a mask made of human skin.

As the group is picked off one by one, Sally and Pam find themselves trapped in the house of horrors. Leatherface, along with his equally disturbed family members, tortures and kills the friends in gruesome ways. The victims are faced with unimaginable terror, as they try to escape the clutches of the sadistic family.

In the climactic scene, Sally is the only one left alive. She manages to break free and flees into the woods, barely escaping Leatherface’s pursuit. After a harrowing struggle, Sally is rescued by a passing truck driver, leaving Leatherface to rage alone. The film ends with Sally in a state of shock, forever marked by the horrific experience.
