
“Flint” (original title: “Kremen”) is a 2012 Russian action mini-series that follows Andrei Shamanov, a former special forces soldier who visits a small town to reconnect with an old military friend. Upon arrival, he discovers that the town is under the oppressive control of Major Gavrilov, a corrupt police chief who enforces his rule through fear and brutality.

When Shamanov intervenes to protect Nastya, a young woman being harassed by Gavrilov, he becomes a target of the major’s wrath. Utilizing his combat skills, Shamanov evades capture and begins to dismantle Gavrilov’s regime, inspiring the townspeople to stand up against their oppressors.
The series stars Vladimir Epifantsev as Andrei Shamanov and Anastasiya Vedenskaya as Nastya. Spanning four episodes, “Flint” combines intense action sequences with a narrative focused on justice and resistance against corruption.
