Zombie Water Park (2026)

Zombie Water Park (2026) is a blood-soaked, darkly comedic horror-action romp that takes the “trapped in paradise” trope and shoves it straight into a chlorine-filled nightmare. Equal parts gory spectacle and tongue-in-cheek summer blockbuster, it’s the kind of movie that delivers absurd set pieces, outrageous kills, and just enough self-awareness to keep the audience laughing while they’re screaming.

The film opens on the grand re-opening weekend of AquaSplash Kingdom, a massive, tropical-themed water park that’s been closed for years after a mysterious contamination incident. The new owner—a flashy influencer-turned-entrepreneur—throws a “Summer Kickoff Bash” with a packed crowd of vacationing families, thrill-seekers, and social media stars. Unbeknownst to them, the park’s filtration system has been compromised by experimental chemicals dumped into the local water supply… and the first people to hit the wave pool start turning into ravenous, fast-moving zombies.

Among the survivors are a mismatched group: a disgraced lifeguard trying to prove himself, a no-nonsense park medic, two bickering YouTubers livestreaming the chaos, a sarcastic maintenance guy who knows the park’s back passages, and a group of kids separated from their parents. The film wastes no time unleashing full aquatic mayhem—zombies in lazy rivers, blood swirling down water slides, and a massive fight on the surf simulator.

As the infection spreads, the survivors realize that the only way out is to drain the entire park to cut off the water supply that’s carrying the contagion. But doing so requires navigating zombie-infested zones, battling through the giant wave pool, and shutting down the filtration system buried beneath the Aqua Coaster of Doom. Along the way, alliances form, sacrifices are made, and the maintenance guy’s ridiculous knowledge of water-park hydraulics becomes their best weapon.

The climax turns into a chaotic, multi-level showdown—half underwater, half on the twisting slides—culminating in a spectacular stunt where a zombie horde is flushed out through the giant funnel slide in a mix of water, gore, and foam. The final survivors emerge battered but alive, only to see news footage hinting that the infection is spreading through other water parks across the country.

Zombie Water Park (2026) is unapologetically over-the-top, packed with inventive kills, neon-lit night sequences, and practical effects that keep the gore both gruesome and fun. It’s a love letter to ridiculous horror set pieces, proving that when the undead hit the wave pool, summer vacation is officially dead.
