In Evil Dead 2 (1987), Ash Williams and his girlfriend Linda arrive at a remote cabin in the woods for a peaceful getaway. Ash discovers the Necronomicon, an ancient book bound in human flesh, and accidentally unleashes evil spirits when he plays a recording of incantations.
