Mr. Lockwood, a new tenant at Thrushcross Grange, visits Wuthering Heights and uncovers the tragic tale of Heathcliff and Catherine. Heathcliff, an orphan adopted by Mr. Earnshaw, forms a deep bond with Catherine but is mistreated by her brother, Hindley.
